Calin, MD, PhD (Professor, MD Anderson Cancer Center ) George Calin received his MD and PhD degrees at the Carol Davila University of Medicine in Romania. As a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Carlo Croce’s laboratory at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Dr. Calin published seminal work demonstrating microRNA roles in cancer. Dr. Calin now studies how non-coding RNAs contribute to cancer in his laboratory at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Adam Scheid, PhD (Associate Editor, American Association for Cancer Research ) Adam Scheid is the Associate Editor at the American Association for Cancer Research's scientific research journal, Molecular Cancer Research. He received doctoral training in immunology at Mayo Clinic and postdoctoral training in RNA and cancer biology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
